This forage focused horse feed balancer has been formulated for maintenance supplementation of young horses from weanlings up to the age of 5. The formula has been devised using data obtained from scientific analysis of our many samples of forage and optimum levels of minerals as directed by the National Research Councils guidelines for growing youngsters.Need a scoop? The minerals used are of high quality to ensure against contamination with heavy metals and enable good absorption rates.Forageplus recommends the use of ad-lib forage plus the straights; alfalfa, beet pulp, wheat bran and or copra with this supplement.  The feeding of these straights will compliment both the balancer and the general profile of forage in the UK and Europe whilst adding important additional major minerals, trace minerals and protein.We also recommend feeding additional Micronised Linseed – High Omega 3 throughout the winter months or if a horse is on a predominantly hay/haylage diet.
