This forage focused equine balancer has been formulated for supplementation of youngstock from weanlings up to the age of 5. The formula has been carefully devised using data obtained from scientific analysis of our many samples of grass and hay.Need a scoop? Click hereContaining optimum levels of high-quality minerals for growing youngsters, as directed by the National Research Councils guidelines, the balancer covers only the commonly deficient minerals, vitamins and amino acids found to be needed to match ratios in the hay or grass your horse eats.  This approach supports optimum, healthy growth in all young horses and develops resilient, robust healthy adults.Shop for an equine balancer for a young horse in work up to the age of 6.All Forageplus Balancers are powders, are very low in sugar and starch, contain no fillers and only the highest purity minerals and vitamins. The minerals used are of high quality to ensure against contamination with heavy metals and enable good absorption rates.Forageplus recommends this horse supplement is used with access to green and growing pasture plus the straights; alfalfa, beet pulp, wheat bran and or copra. The feeding of these straights will compliment both the balancer and the general profile of forage in the UK and Europe whilst adding useful additional major minerals, trace minerals and protein.We recommend using the Winter Version and feeding additional Micronised Linseed – High Omega 3 throughout the winter months or if a horse is on a predominantly hay/haylage diet. This will ensure good levels of the essential fat omega 3 to maintain and support excellent health.Above the age of two supplementing salt at 10 – 25 grams per day may also be beneficial to support healthy growth.
